GS/OS Host FST not mounting after round trip to P8.

With the Host FST, under GS/OS 6.0.4, in GSplus, is it normal for the
Host fs to not survive a round trip to a ProDOS 8 app? When i quit back
to GS/OS, it doesn't mount.

P8 and gs/os partitions/volumes are not handled the same way.

Only a device recognized by P8 will be visible from the two OSes

Right. I don't expect it to show up under P8. The issue is that it's
not there when i quit back to GS/OS.

drivers are removed from the list when switching to p8. They have to be remounted to be visible again.

I have the same pb with the disk images mounted with my MountIt (http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/products/apple2gs/mountit.html)

So... it is a normal behaviour!

It shouldn't do that but there's a bug (fst shutdown code is called when
switching to p8 but the fst startup code isn't called when switching
back to gs/os). It should get fixed soon.

For clarity, is this a bug in the Host FST or in System Software?

That is what Apple called warm boot. Not handled by GS/OS but it was supposed to be. So, it is not a bug.

I tend to believe it will never be supported...
