I have a CFFA3000 that boots an Apple IIgs. I have a SCSI Zip drive and
GGLABS SCSI card on the way.
What software do I need to format a Zip cartridge, where might I obtain
it and how do I format the cartridge?

Their page says it's a clone of the Apple rev. C SCSI card, so I'd think
software for that card should work...probably one of the files from this
directory that doesn't have "high speed" or "HS" in its name:

Zip drives are treated no differently than hard drives. It might be a good
idea to not swap disks while the computer is on, or to at least immediately
follow a disk change with a reboot.

I have DLed some of those. I took a look at
Apple_II_SCSI_Card_Utilities_2.0_1990-Apple> It wanted an Apple II
Highspeed SCSI card. I'll take a look at the others.
Thanks.

I got the Zip drive today. Once it was connected, everything went fairly
smoothly. I used my cffa3000 as the boot HD and formatted from there. It
is now a useable HD in slot 7 while the cffa3000 remain in slot 1.
